Life celebrations, funerals and memorials are amongst those rare times where the disparate branches of someone’s life come together in one place.

On these occasions, that ‘someone’ is deeply present in the memories of those gathered, and brings together, happily or jaggedly, the ramshackle crowd.

I will take care to hear the recollections you share with me. I will help create what you need to celebrate and to mourn the person who has died.

We will craft a ceremony that will be meaningful to you and to that person’s community, to all in their tribe of friends and family. We will tell their story.

We will acknowledge and celebrate what fueled their passion, inspired their actions and allowed them to grow and live as richly as they could. The ceremony will honour them. It will not shy from sadness and disaster if they are significant.

It will be singular.
