Elizabeth conducted our daughter, M’s naming ceremony. My husband and I were both aware of Humanism after his Grandfather passed away a few years ago and we couldn’t think of a better way to have welcomed M to the world and our family and friends. So many people complimented the ceremony and said how lovely it was, which meant the world to us. Allowing us and her Guide Parents the chance to write our own personal commitments to her and share these with everyone made it even more special. Thank you so much for all your support Elizabeth!

We had a naming ceremony for our first daughter a couple of years ago and decided to explore other celebrants for our second daughter (8 months old) and Beth was brilliant. Beth came to meet with myself and partner at our house and took time to understand our reasons for the celebration and our story to date, both being attentive and taking lots of notes. Beth was open, honest and encouraging which really helped us open up and relax. The script itself was guided by Beth whilst encouraging feedback from ourselves and after a few revisions over email, the ceremony was completed… the feedback we got from all our guests was brilliant also. People commented on how personal the ceremony was how they thought it was much better than a religious ceremony. It was great to hear that they enjoyed themselves. We would highly recommend Beth for any ceremony.

My partner & I highly recommend Beth’s services. She recently came to us to perform a naming ceremony for our little boy which was in the style of a garden party theme. Not only did Beth come to meet us before hand to discuss details she also replied quickly to my queries about the day and made sure that our son’s ceremony was everything we wanted it to be.
She made his naming ceremony personal, funny, very heartfelt and meaningful.
Ourselves & our guests all thought she did an amazing job. Also, as quite a lot of our family & friends hadn’t ever been to a naming ceremony before, she made sure our guests were well informed about what the ceremony was and to our delight all of our guests said they preferred this ceremony to a traditional Christening. They all loved how personal the ceremony was and how well Beth conducted it.
