Hello! I’m Julie and I’m a wedding celebrant with Humanists UK.

I’ve been a TV producer for years, producing entertainment shows for all the major broadcasters, and so becoming a celebrant felt like second nature to me. It’s the perfect way to use my skills to good effect by creating a meaningful, sincere and unique ceremony for you. And what could be better than meeting couples in love, who are about to get married and finding out all about them.

Your story is the most important thing and getting to know all about you. When and how did you meet? Where was your first date? And that first kiss, do you both remember it?

And of course, there’s the point you realized you wanted to spend the rest of your lives together. Who doesn’t love a proposal story, no matter when or where it happened?

What is a Humanist wedding?

You will find a Humanist wedding is a wonderful, richly fulfilling experience that is personal to the two of you. A bespoke script created with you and for you, by me, once I get to know you a little better. Every one of your guests will recognize you in the words I write, which in turn will make everyone present feel part of your special day.

As a celebrant, writing the perfect script for your day is my goal, it’s your story but it’s my privilege to write it. Whether it’s a simple and intimate gathering, with a few loved ones or a grand occasion with a long guest list, we’ll work together to find the right tone and feel for the day.

Your wedding can be WHEREVER you want it to be and HOWEVER you want it to be. There is no set formula.

You’ll have support every step of the way, as we design the perfect ceremony that you, your family and friends will cherish for a lifetime, and you can be sure of a smooth and stress-free experience.
