Hello! I’m Julie and I’m a wedding celebrant with Humanists UK. And you must be the happy couple! CONGRATULATIONS!

I LOVE being a wedding celebrant and I’m also a TV producer, producing entertainment shows for all the major broadcasters. Over the years I’ve written hundreds of scripts and I’m an accomplished storyteller.

Being a celebrant is the perfect way to use my skills to good effect by creating a meaningful, sincere and unique ceremony for you.

Your story is the most important thing and getting to know all about you. When and how did you meet? Where was your first date? And that first kiss, do you both remember it? And of course, who doesn’t love a proposal story, no matter when or where it happened?

What is a Humanist wedding?

A Humanist wedding is a wonderful, richly fulfilling experience that is personal to the two of you. A bespoke script created with you and for you, by me. Every one of your guests will recognize you in the words I write, which in turn will make everyone present feel part of your special day.

As a celebrant, writing the perfect script for your day is my goal, it’s your story but it’s my privilege to write it. Whether it’s a simple and intimate gathering, with a few loved ones or a grand occasion with a long guest list, we’ll work together to find the right tone and feel for the day.

Your wedding can be WHEREVER you want it to be and HOWEVER you want it to be.

There is no set formula.

You’ll have support every step of the way, and I know how stressful wedding planning can be but rest assured, this will be the fun bit, I can promise you a smooth and stress-free experience.
