I started my journey as a Wedding Celebrant in the Summer of 2023 and so I’m still fairly new in the game. I am confident that as time goes on and as I deliver more wedding ceremonies, this page will develop.

 

 

17th August 2025

From the couple – What can we say!!! We are so incredibly grateful for you capturing our story and bringing it to life on Sunday. It honestly made for the most personal, heartfelt ceremony that felt so us and we will cherish that forever. Angharad genuinely came out of the ceremony and said to Mike if that was it for today, she’d be happy. In fact, it was what people commented on most – how much they loved the ceremony (with some saying the best one they’ve been to) and how it felt so tailored to us. It honestly means the world. 

From the guests – I’m really sorry I missed you after the ceremony as it was all so busy, but I wanted to thank you for your beautiful service for Mike and Angharad. It was perfect and your words really reflected them both as a couple. It was very emotional for me too. Thank you once again

From the couple – Thank you so much for everything Saturday and in the build up. It was such a lovely service and it made the day really special for us. So many people have spoken to us about how unique and personal the service was, which made it all the more special. And thank you for making sure all the logistics with the ceremony worked well too.

From the couple – We knew early on that we didn’t want a religious ceremony so when I did a quick search and found Kimberley we organised a meet up. Within the first 10 minutes of meeting her I knew we wanted her to be in our wedding. She was fantastic from the offset and put no pressure on us to go with her even though we knew she was the perfect fit. From the get to know us meetings through to the final day everything was so easy. I think we made one very very minor change to the whole ceremony draft along the way which Kimberley was unfazed by but everything in the ceremony was perfectly us. She really took on what we wanted and our lives together and made it into something so special. Kimberley constantly communicated with us and was there for help at every step along the way. On the ceremony day itself she was a very calming influence for both of us. The ceremony was fantastic and everyone has commented that it was the best wedding ceremony they’d been to because it was so personal and Kimberley was so personable. It will forever be my favourite part of the day and I’m just so glad that we found Kimberley!

We just wanted to say a quick thank you before we head off. EVERYONE has said how much they loved the ceremony and how incredible you were. We couldn’t have imagined a better ceremony and it’ll always be the favourite thing about our day X

 

December 2024

From the couple – Kimberley was the celebrant at our wedding ceremony in December 2024. We would highly recommend her for any wedding, birth or funeral celebration. We met with Kimberley several times over the course of the year before our wedding, and she attentively constructed a ceremony for us from our ideas and captured many little details. We were always so happy to have our ceremony led by such a confident and conscientious figure. It really was a delight to work with Kimberley on such a special occasion.

October 2024

From the guests –Kimberley conducted a truly wonderful wedding ceremony, it was such a happy and personal time. Our daughter and her (now) husband seemed to enjoy the ceremony so much and I could see how much it meant to them. We were so moved by the experience and so many of the guests commented to us on what a wonderful, personal, event it was. Kimberley’s warmth and understanding of their journey so far and their hopes for the future made such a difference.

From the couple – “Where to start! Kim was just amazing all the way through our wedding journey! It was a real full circle moment, as the first time we met Kim was actually in University, almost 14 years ago! So imagine our excitement when we found out she is now a celebrant! It was so perfect. We were absolutely the lucky ones that Kim said “Yes” to us!
Kim’s attention to detail and ability to tell our story made our ceremony so special. The first draft we received was practically perfect, there was hardly anything to change and the bits that did change were on us to provide anyway! We had regular contact with Kim on WhatsApp, emails, and in person coffee meets, so we always knew what the next steps were leading up to the day. On the day, things couldn’t have gone more perfectly. Bright smiles and such positive energy throughout. So many of our guests had never been to an outdoor wedding, let alone a celebrant led wedding, so we were a little apprehensive on how it would be received, but we needed not worry as Kim was amazingly professional and we’ve received so many compliments from friends and family afterwards.
If you’re looking for a celebrant for your wedding then don’t look any further as Kim is your gal! You 100% won’t regret it and you’ll make a great friend along the way!”

From the couple – “From our first meeting with Kimberley, we were struck by her warm and easygoing (yet always professional) manner, and her amazing perceptiveness. We were blown away when we received the first draft of our ceremony – She had managed to articulate the essence of ‘us’ and lots of the sentiments that we wanted to share with our guests in such a beautiful way, and after just one evening together! Her words made us laugh, cringe, and shed a tear all at once, and her attention to detail was incredible. She seamlessly incorporated our chosen readings, and gave us guidance, encouragement and confidence in writing our own vows. She made sure the ceremony was ‘just right’ for us, and was a wonderful presence on our wedding day itself, making us feel comfortable and relaxed in her capable hands. From the couple – “It’s only taken us 6 months to get this review written, fortunately for us Kim does not lack the ability to put into words our story. We are very lucky to call her our friend and to have her write and preform our 10 year wedding anniversary vow and promise renewal ceremony. About this time last year we decided we would like to celebrate our 10 year anniversary by redoing our vows. We loved our first wedding, however, us and the relationship have been on a journey, grown and we wanted to write new vows to reflect this. A huge part of us now is our son and we wanted him to be a big part of the vow renewal.

Kim met with us, we had a coffee, she ask us about our story, key mile stones and gave us some homework. We spent time together writing what we wanted to say to each other and to your son. That was it, we trusted Kim to do the rest. The ceremony itself was on Ogmore beach there was just 5 of us, it was perfect. The tale of the rings, each ring representing an adventure in our journey. It couldn’t have been more fitting for us! We choose sand blending to represent each promise we made to each other, something our son loved helping with. Afterwards we had a paddle in the sea and ate doughnuts, just perfect there are no other words. Kim got us, she listened and she made it our story, what we wanted, what we needed. We can thank Kim enough for what she has given us.”

She was so helpful in supporting us to create a day that truly aligned with our values as a couple, her calm guidance was amazing! Kim wrote two amazing, meaningful and personal ceremonies for us; one for just the two of us (where we went up a mountain with Kim, yes Kim was more than willing to do this with us!!!) and the other for friends and family to be a part of (in Penpont House in Brecon). “We want to say a massive thank you for the ceremony. We had so many compliments and a lot of people said to us that they’d never seen that kind of humanist ceremony and loved how personal it was. We loved the process of getting the script, you made us feel really comfortable and we felt that it meant the script was really specific and touching. We also really appreciated the opportunity to edit it afterwards and loved the touches of asking the guests to make a vow and including our personal thoughts about the other. It was very reassuring to have you at the walk through with us so that you knew the venue and we appreciated your guidance on the day too, you were a massively reassuring presence. Prior to delivering any ceremonies, I received the following feedback on the scripts:

“Had a read through the draft last night. Thanks for sending it through! We both loved it. We have a couple of tiny adjustments we like to make to a few bits. But other than that we super happy with what you’ve come up with, thank you.” — Received after sending C&B the first draft of their wedding ceremony in May, 2023

Training 

In order to be an accredited Humanist celebrant, I underwent 5 day residential training. During which I delivered a ceremony for my peers and trainers. The feedback I received for that is below:
