A memorial ceremony can take place at any time following someone’s death – weeks, months or even years.  For some families the prospect of arranging a full funeral ceremony can be daunting for practical or emotional reasons.  It may be the challenge of gathering people together in one place who may be scattered in other parts of the country or world.  It may be the family feel that a celebration of their loved ones life is too much to consider at such an early stage of their grieving.  There is also the possibility that the person who died has stipulated their funeral be a direct cremation with no-one or few people present.

And so some families are choosing to have a memorial ceremony.   I can work with you to make the memorial ceremony exactly what you want it to be.  There is often more flexibility in terms of time because we are not bound by the time slots of a crematorium.  There is flexibility in choice of venue.  I have carried out memorial ceremonies in people’s homes and gardens, in pubs and village halls, in sailing clubs, woodlands and on beaches.  The choice is endless.
