Celebrating and reaffirming your love and commitment can be important at any point in your relationship.
I’ve worked with couples who felt they had to conform to a church wedding a few decades ago, but realise that they missed out on having a personalised wedding ceremony and there’s the possibility of having a meaningful, non-religious ceremony, and have their own love story told in a way that resonates with their friends and family around them.
After overcoming challenging times, or changes, couples may feel they want to press ‘reset’ and make a positive statement of their love and commitment moving forward.
I really enjoy working with a couple on their vow renewal. It is heart-warming to see love that’s lasted a long time being shared with all they care about.
Is it possible to hold a vow renewal online?
Yes, anything is possible these days! And this could be a really good way of bringing friends and family together in the current situation, or simply when people are in different parts of the world.
How much is a vow renewal ceremony?
My fees for 2020/2021 are:
£100 non-refundable deposit
£200 – £300 creating a vow renewal (meeting, research, writing)
£150 conduct the vow renewal (includes travel if necessary)
Total = £450-£550*
*This depends on the length of the vow renewal, the complexity and the times in meetings. Please feel free to negotiate.
