If you are interested in booking my services for your special day, the first thing to do is get in touch. I am happy to answer any initial queries that you have over the phone or by email.

My contact details are listed in the right hand panel of this screen (or at the bottom of the screen if you are on a mobile phone).

The next step is to  arrange an informal Zoom meeting ( free of charge) with both of you.It is important that I meet with both of you because choosing your celebrant is a joint decision. If one of you likes me and the other doesn’t it’s going to be tricky working together. This initial video meeting usually lasts 30 -45 mins .

After this initial meeting, if we all agree that we are a good match, you can proceed with the booking. In order to secure your date you will need to pay me a £150 non-refundable deposit. Don’t leave it too late, summer dates get booked up well in advance.

Once your booking is in place I will give you some questionnaires to complete which ask questions about your story and relationship. These will help you to think about what marriage/partnership means to you, and give me insight into your relationship, personalities and values.

Then we arrange a longer face-to-face meeting (2 – 2.5 hours) in which we discuss the structure and content of your ceremony. We will talk about symbolic rituals, music, readings, choreography and any other ideas, wants and wishes that you have. I then go away and start writing your ceremony script.

Throughout the process we stay in touch by phone and email. If either of you want to slip in a surprise for your beloved during the ceremony, that’s fine, we can have a separate line of communication to do that.

FEES & SERVICES

I charge £750  for a wedding, renewal of vows or partnership ceremony .

In return for this fee:-

• You will have a planning meeting, where we get to know each other and explore your preferences for the ceremony.
• You will draw on my experience to build a meaningful ceremony including words, music & symbolic acts of your choosing.
• You will receive a bespoke script which reflects your personalities and outlook on life.
• You will be able to suggest changes to the script, via email, and I will edit the script in response to your feedback.
• You will have the option of a run through/rehearsal with me at the venue, prior to the ceremony.
• You will have a beautiful and memorable ceremony conducted in a warm and professional manner.
• You will receive a presentation copy of your final ceremony script.

TRAVEL: My travel costs are included in my fee, up to 30 miles from my home in Brighton. Additional mileage will be charged at 50p per mile.
