About Humanist Weddings

“The ceremony was personal to us and everything we wanted. It was fun for all. Many of our guests had not experienced a humanist ceremony but were very impressed. Our celebrant Debbie was great and brought fun into the ceremony and made us feel comfortable. Thank you”

Whether you’re getting married or renewing your vows, looking for a big, glitzy celebration or a more intimate gathering, your wedding ceremony can be anything and anywhere you want!

Find your ideal venue and I’ll work with you to craft the perfect ceremony to complement your style.

Whatever you choose, your ceremony will be all about you; a unique celebration of the journey you have taken together to reach this point in your relationship, bringing the past, the present and the future together in one place and time.

Each ceremony is bespoke, created with you and for you to reflect your personalities and lifestyle, attitudes and outlook, dreams and wishes.  You can write your own vows, include a wedding ceremony ritual, include live music, and have a friend or family member read a poem or passage that you find particularly meaningful.

Humanists welcome people of all faiths and none; if there is a favourite religious reading or song that holds special importance for you, I am happy to include it in your ceremony.

However, please don’t ask me to lead your guests in prayer as collective worship is not in the humanist tradition.
