About me
My search for a third-way alternative to the church or register office wedding some 20 years ago, led me to the organisation I now proudly represent.
As a celebrant trained and accredited by Humanists UK, I work to make sure your ceremony – be it a funeral, wedding, commitment ceremony or a baby naming – is a reflection of you.
Why shouldn’t we mark these rites of passage in a way that celebrates our individuality and deepest held convictions? If you don’t hold religious belief or don’t want your ceremony to refer to god, have a ceremony that refers to the things you do believe in. And have it wherever you want!
I graduated from University College London with a BA (Hons) in English Literature and History of Art and I hold an MSc in Information Science and teaching qualifications. Following an early career in writing and publishing I began working as a celebrant for Humanists UK.
I am currently Head Trainer in wedding and naming celebrant training for Humanists UK, responsible for developing skills in new and existing celebrants nationwide. Along the way I learn a lot of tips myself!
I live in Surrey with my husband and two children.
