We wanted to thank you for the amazing wedding ceremony. It was absolutely superb – you gave just the right notes of warmth and joy while maintaining the profundity of the moment. We also really appreciated your organisational and theatrical skills in planning and rehearsing the event. It gave us peace of mind beforehand and the ceremony a satisfying feeling of ‘a plan coming together’! The main rehearsal at your house was a very emotional moment, it sounds strange but that made us fully realise what we were doing and I think gave us a unity of purpose leading up to the wedding. So thanks again for everything, we loved it and have had so many compliments from our guests.

Your wedding day is all about you. Your family and friends have gathered to celebrate your love story. Love triumphs and as such, yes, you are in the right place.
It shouldn’t need saying but whoever you are, diversity, in every aspect, race, cultural background, religion, gender identity and sexual orientation, is at the heart of what we do.
The ceremony can take place almost anywhere. I have taken them in wedding venues, deconsecrated churches, woods, fields and paddocks, pubs, clubs, town halls, a river bank, on a lightship on the Thames, Elizabethan castles and the top floor of the Gherkin.
You may be thinking of something on a grand scale or a small intimate ceremony.
It doesn’t have to be ‘overly wordy. You should include the music you find meaningful. Your wedding can and should involve people close to you.
You may want to be legally married with a Registrar with a small group of family and friends and have the humanist ceremony, the whole ‘hoopdedoop’ after, to include a larger gathering, reception and party.
