The vast majority of funeral services have been held in crematoria, but there is no requirement to hold a ceremony in the crematorium.

Direct cremation is a simple, affordable and dignified cremation without a funeral service.  Your local funeral director can arrange this or there are many services advertised on the internet.

Choosing a direct cremation can give you more time to plan the funeral service/celebration of life/memorial service, you can choose a venue and will not be subject to the same restrictions of time and space.  I have led many ceremonies in hotels/clubs and out in the open so if you think this might be the best option for you then please get in touch and I will help you in any way I can, without obligation.
