Jen and Andrew
“Cate was absolutely wonderful – from our first meeting right up to the day, she was fantastic. Helped us to create a ceremony which we will remember fondly for years to come.”
The setting for Jen and Andrew’s wedding was Brandon Farm in Northumberland. Who would have thought that an old tractor barn would make a suitable place to hold a wedding? But with a lot of hard work from Andrew’s family, particularly his dad and brother, it was transformed into a magical ceremony space.
I was made extremely welcome by Andrew’s family and enjoyed tea and cake with tea around the farmhouse table on the day before the ceremony when we had a brief rehearsal.
It is always said that one should never work with children or animals, but one of the highlights of the ceremony was when Jen’s trusty bulldog, Albert, came pounding down the aisle, carrying the wedding rings. I am not sure who was the most excited at this point.
The whole day went swimmingly. This wedding just goes to show how a bit of imagination can make an unlikely space turn into an ideal location for a delightful wedding.
