Preparing for your own funeral – pre-need

More and more people are now thinking ahead to their own funeral or memorial ceremony. This can be a great help to family and friends when the time comes if they are given clear directions and wishes. Think about the music or poetry you might wish to be included. You might also like to write down your personal history, noting the people and things that are most important to you.

Write down your ideas in whatever way makes sense to you, but please make sure that someone close to you knows where your plans are. If you wish for your ceremony to be conducted by a Humanist Celebrant, please make sure that you specify this.
