I like to create personalized ceremonies for the key milestones in people’s lives whether it is the joyous occasion of a naming, a bringing together of two people at a wedding or a celebration of a life now ended at a funeral or memorial. I am accredited by Humanist UK and conduct ceremonies across the South-West including Bournemouth, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Poole, Southampton, Wiltshire and elsewhere by arrangement. I am frequently in London and happy to conduct ceremonies there.
Ceremonies are delivered with respect, love and care with each one individually crafted to reflect the occasion guided by the wishes and feelings of those involved. It is tremendously rewarding work; sharing those very special moments with people from all walks of life. You can see some of the feedback I have received here.
I undertook funeral training with Humanist UK in 2014 and then wedding and naming training in 2016. I have conducted many ceremonies and each one is unique and special. I am also a member of Dorset Humanists and attend their meetings and events.
I am married with four children and active in my community, particularly with environmental issues.
I am part of a local group of colleagues (Wessex Celebrants) who provide a reliable and professional service. Between us we ensure that there is always a Humanist celebrant available to conduct ceremonies. You can find links on the right.
