Clare and Matt’s was a wedding like no other I’ve been to. They hired the fantastic Pinewood Holiday Park in Scarborough for three days, so that all their friends and family could stay together before, during and after the ceremony. Effectively, the wedding was a whole weekend of festivities.

Pinewood has a fabulous Wild West theme running through it, so Matt and Clare embraced that for a lot of their goings-on. For the ceremony itself, though, we did away with the costumes and had a beautiful, friendly, laid-back outdoor ceremony in the sun, with people sitting on rugs and lots of different people giving readings. The whole atmosphere was something between a garden party and a festival.

“The ceremony itself was absolutely lovely; Ewan managed to capture perfectly our personalities, approach to life and all that is important to us. The ceremony was a perfect balance of light-hearted humour and sentiment, which was exactly what we’d been aiming for, and Ewan’s delivery was excellent. All our wedding guests commented on how lovely and personal the ceremony had been and a few people said it was the nicest wedding ceremony they’ve ever heard (clearly we agree, but then, we might be slightly biased!).”
